Almost all displays today are designed using LCD technology. LCD touch displays consists of 2 glass plates and a liquid in between. TFT panels are also LCD touch panels, only expanded by a color filter and an active control via transistor. There are many different versions: text, graphics, 7-segment and icon-based versions.
